I have treated individuals and couples for years — from diverse communities, and on all kinds of issues. I work with people to decrease anxiety, depression, psychosomatic disorders, intrusive thoughts, and to break through creative blocks or address relationship issues, amongst many other challenges that impact well-being.

I have a Master’s degree from New York University and pursued psychoanalytic training at the Center for Modern Psychoanalytic Studies (CMPS). Additionally, I completed a therapy externship at St. Mary’s Center Harlem, a residential HIV/AIDS facility. This education underscored the importance of considering each person as utterly unique, rather than as reducible to a diagnosis or set of symptoms.

My approach is best suited for individuals and couples who are curious about their inner life and seek more than quick answers. I will work with you to understand why you feel, think, and respond the way that you do. Together, we will consider your history and how unconscious patterns may influence your present circumstances. By helping you to tell a more complete story of your life, we can open up new possibilities for your future.
